Common questions
Does it cost me anything to use 1on1.fitness?
No. Clients use 1on1.fitness for free, including sending a brief and choosing a trainer. Any training is arranged between you and the trainer, and you pay the trainer directly. We never take a share of what you pay them.
How does a brief work?
A brief is one short description of what you want. It covers your goal, where you want to train (at a gym, at home, or online), when you are free, and anything a trainer should know. You write it on the site, and it stays there. Emails never contain what you wrote.
How many trainers can I contact?
You can send your brief to up to 3 checked trainers at once. You can send it to up to 9 trainers in total for the same brief. You choose which trainers receive it.
When are my details shared?
Your name and contact details are not shared when you send a brief. They are shared only after a trainer says yes and you choose to go with them. Once you have chosen, the details are shared both ways, so you and your trainer can get in touch.
How do you check trainers?
Every trainer is checked before their profile goes live. They upload photo ID and insurance, plus a recognised fitness qualification if they have one. A trainer without one is vetted personally by our operator instead. Only our operator, who checks them, and the people who run the site's systems can see these documents, and every time one is opened through the site it is logged.
Why is one trainer shown above another?
Trainers are ordered by how well they fit your goal, how close they are, the format you want, when they are available and how reliably they reply. Among the three best matches, Pro trainers are shown first, with a Pro label you can see.
