This notice covers the sign-up form on 1on1.fitness while the service is getting ready to open on the Isle of Man. 1on1.fitness is a CGI Web Services product.
What we collect
- If you are looking for a trainer: your email address, and if you choose to give them, your name, your town and your goal.
- If you are a personal trainer: your name, email address and where you train, and your phone number if you choose to give it.
- The date and time you signed up, and the time you ticked the box agreeing to us keeping your details.
- Whether we have sent you the one email confirming your sign-up, so you never get it twice.
Why
Only to tell you about 1on1.fitness: when it opens, and for trainers, about joining. Straight after you sign up we send you one short email from hello@1on1.fitness to confirm we have your details; you get it only once, however many times you sign up. We do not sell or share your details, and we do not use them for anything else.
Where it is kept
Your sign-up is stored on our own server, outside the public website, and a copy is emailed to us at hello@cgiweb.im so we can reply. To stop the form being abused, the server keeps a scrambled code made from your internet address, used only to count sign-ups in the last hour. It cannot practically be turned back into the address and is not linked to your sign-up. Our web server keeps standard access logs, which include IP addresses, for security; they are deleted after about five weeks.
How long we keep it
We keep your details until you ask us to delete them, or until 12 months after launch at the latest.
Cookies and tracking
This site sets no cookies, runs no analytics and loads nothing from other websites. The spam check on the form runs in your own browser.
Unsubscribe or delete your details
Reply "remove" to the confirmation email and we will delete your details., or email us. To see what we hold about you, or to have it deleted, email hello@cgiweb.im and we will do it. You can complain to the Isle of Man Information Commissioner.
